Eric Bing
Eric Bing is an American healthcare executive and commentator on healthcare education and workforce development. Since 2015, he has served as the Chancellor & CEO of the College of Health Care Professions (CHCP), a Texas-based provider of allied health training programmes. Under his leadership, CHCP has developed a flexible, stackable credential model designed to support working adults and improve employment outcomes, collaborating with a network of more than 1,500 employers.
He is the winner of the 2025 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for his services to young adult learners.
Before joining CHCP, Bing founded and operated a traveling nursing and therapy company and a healthcare staffing firm focused on addressing workforce shortages by training and placing Filipino nurses in U.S. hospital systems. Earlier in his career, he worked on public health initiatives in East Africa, including vaccine management, antiretroviral training, and coordination with international HIV/AIDS relief efforts.
Bing has held leadership roles in public service, including chairing AmeriCorps for Texas and serving as a trustee for the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
